March 2004 – Integrity Investigations Opens for Business

Brandy Lord of South Bend, IN opened her private investigation firm, Integrity Investigations, LLC. Integrity is a full-service, licensed investigative firm in the state of Indiana. Brandy was the former Executive Director of Investigations at a local security and private investigation agency. In her role, she conducted investigations on highly sensitive cases, directed research, managed and assigned investigators accordingly, and worked with the United States Marshals to transport federal prisoners. Prior, Brandy was the Security Operations Manager where she was directly responsible for 100+ armed and unarmed security and police officers. Brandy holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Business Studies graduating with Honors, and an Associate of Applied Science in Legal Office Administration completing with High Honors. When the large agency she worked for sold their security division and not the investigation side, Brandy knew what needed to be done. Clients that needed investigation assistance would soon be displaced. Although Brandy had her degrees, experience, and was born into a family of entrepreneurs, her plan was not originally to be a business owner. Brandy planned to attend law school; however, she recognized a need within the legal community for professional private investigators. Not just for the law firms that were accustomed to utilizing professional investigators, but to continue to educate other firms about the value and services available to them. Brandy started working with the St. Joseph County Chamber of Commerce, Small Business Development Center to create a business plan. The business plan came together, and Integrity Investigations opened their doors.
